Featured Wines

Filsinger Chardonnay

This is a “limited release” wine due to the fact that only 220 cases were produced.  Although fermented in oak, there’s a lot of yeast, vanilla and butterscotch with pear and green apple on the finish.  Great with shellfish, light pastas, and soft cheeses.

Tobin James “James Gang Reserve” Riesling

A medium bodied, semi-dry Riesling with some apricot, pear, and spice on the nose.  Apple, pear, and a little honey (everyone should have a little honey) on the palate.  This wine goes great with sushi and other Asian inspired dishes…yes, like Red Mango…

Harmony Cellars Syrah

Lots of red berries and white pepper on the nose…the same on the palate (amazing, huh?).  Paso Robles’ Syrahs have really caught on the past few years, and we think this Syrah represents the finesse of the smaller wineries up there.  Great with beef and lamb, this red also pairs nicely with grilled salmon with rosemary.

Tobin James “James Gang Reserve” Zinfandel

If you’re ever on 46 East, Tobin James Winery is a “must-stop”*.  Seems like there’s always a party going on, and the people are really nice.  They’re known for their Zinfandels, and produce 4-6 EACH year.  This is a jammy zin with  a bit of oak and nice tannins.  Joe Walsh would be proud.

Noel Vinyards “Santa’s Reserve Red”

A nice “sit in front of the fireplace” red wine.  Medium bodied with pretty smooth tannins, this Cabernet blend has cherry and spice on the nose and cherry, oak, and spice on the palate.  Try it with French onion soup, warm rolls…even a nice pot roast.  Yum!

Weins Meritage (Merry-tage)

Another wine released just in time for the holidays.  Yes, it only comes in the magnum bottle (so big deal…invite a few more friends over).  We sold out of this on “Shop at Home”, so decided to bring it back.  It’s a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.  Roast beef, seasoned chicken, and smoked turkey work really well with this wine.

Tobin James Petite Sirah

This is a really dark, almost inky, Petite Sirah.  Great structure with black cherry and boysenberry on the nose and palate.  Petite Sirah is pretty versatile in that it  pairs well lasagna as well as a thick New York steak. Our advice:  Decant it or at least let it breath for 30 minutes…try a sip every 5 minutes to see how it opens up.

Tobin James “James Gang Reserve” Cabernet Sauvignon

A fruit bomb.  Lots of blackberry, and cherry on the nose…blackberry, cherry, cassis, and raspberry on the palate.  A great finish, this wine begs for a prime cut, medium-rare, lightly seasoned rib eye steak (not less than 1 inch thick).  Think about it.

Sparkling Wines

Filsinger Diamond Cuvee

This is a dry, brut with extended oak aging.  Produced in the “methode champenoise” or traditional method where all secondary fermentation is done in each bottle.

Filsinger Strawberry Rose’

A dry, light, Gamay and Riesling blend with a hint of natural strawberry flavor.

Sydney’s Surprise

The wine is near dry but not a Brut. There is a hint of raspberry on the nose and the Raspberry lingers in the mouth. It is a wonderful aperitif wine, pairs well with most any appetizer and is the greatest summer sipping wine of all time.

Maggie's Magic Sparkling Wine

The wine has green apple and citric undertones and is near dry but not a Brut. There is a hint of vanilla on the nose and a lingering creme brulee finish. This sparkling wine goes great with melon based fruit salads or a Gorgonzola and walnut salad. It is also a great brunch wine.

Weins Amour De L’ Orange Sparkling Wine

Amour De L' Orange Sparkling Wine is an ambrosial delight for those of you who enjoy Champagne with a fun twist.  Starting with the finest Chardonnay cuvee loaded with fruity tropical aromas, the winemaker added just a hint of natural orange flavoring.  If you love mimosas, Amour De L' Orange is sure to be a hit at your party, wedding, or Sunday brunch!

Ports / Sherries

Longshadow Ranch Pondersosa Port

Zinfandel grapes from the 2000 vintage were used for this port style wine.  Aged in 50 year old Jack Daniels Whiskey barrels, this wine exhibits lots of raspberry and spice with an extra long finish.

E2 Family Port

This is E2’s flagship wine.  Aged and stored in American oak barrels until the customer buys it.  An intense, fruit forward port made from Delta Cabernet grapes.  Black fruit with just a touch of pear and a rich finish.  Nice for dessert.

Three Friends

Cucamonga Valley—A classic aged tawny style port. Amber-caramel in color with warm brown sugar on the nose.Long lingering finish with hints of walnuts.More international gold medals than any tawny port in America.

Zinfandel Celestiale Port

To top off a fine evening, this Zinfandel dessert wine is both heavenly and sinful. A contiguous duplicity in all respects, with rich dark berries it is ruby and tawny, creamy and tannic. A dry front and melted back, full yet light, a soft top palate contrasted by a powdery bottom palate, sweet and dry.

Aleatico Port

Cucamonga Valley– A rare Italian red wine grape.  A premium vintage style port made locally with an Italian grape from the Adriatic coast and naturally high in sugar, the Aleatico Port is full rich and inviting.

Sherry Crema Cask Three

Cucamonga Valley– Classic California Cream Sherry.Warm toasty aroma of Caramel and Hazelnut with a lingering finish of Vanilla.Winner of multiple Gold and Sweepstakes awards.

Mount Palomar Solera Cream Sherry

Since 1978 Mount Palomar has produced handcrafted sherry wines in their outdoor aging  solera. This is a forgotten winemaking method in California that harkens back to an earlier era.Using the classic Palomino variety and patient aging of at least three years under the sun creates rich, almond caramel and hazelnut flavors and a long smooth finish.
